Raiwala is a railway junction on the Haridwar-Dehradun line, and a good number of our Raiwala renters have just stepped off a train and want a bike ready for the same day. Others are staying near the station and want to reach the sal forest roads on the edge of Rajaji National Park, or simply need transport for a few hours before their next connection.
The roads around Raiwala are wide, flat highway stretches rather than the narrow ghat lanes of central Rishikesh, so it is an easy area to start a ride from, whether you are heading further along the highway or doubling back toward the river towards Shyampur and Rishikesh town.
For local runs around the station and the flat roads nearby, the Activa 125 (₹500/day) is enough on its own. If you are continuing further along the highway toward Haridwar, or picking up speed on the open stretches near Raiwala, the Apache RTR 160 or Hunter 350 (from ₹900/day) handle that kind of riding more comfortably than a scooter.
Our shop at Haat Bazar, Shyampur is about 6 km from Raiwala Junction, a short ride by auto-rickshaw or shared transport from the station area. Message us on WhatsApp before you set off and we will talk you through the route so you are not searching for the shop once you arrive.
