Our Story

Two School Friends. One Shared Dream.

Himanshu and Gambhir have been friends since school — the kind who did everything together. So when one of them turned up with an idea, the other was already in.

In September 2023, Gambhir brought the idea. He is the one who would rather be on a road than anywhere else, and he had watched enough travellers get handed a badly kept bike at a price nobody would explain. His pitch was simple: rent bikes the way we would want one rented to us.

Himanshu Bijalwan brought the other half. He designs websites and works in SEO and digital marketing. So while Gambhir sorted out the bikes, Himanshu built this site, put the shop on Google Maps, and wrote down the things most rental shops leave you to discover at the counter — what it costs, what the deposit is, what happens if you are late.

On 15 April 2024, they opened at Shyampur Haat Bazar.

The split has not changed since. Gambhir is at the shop. He hands over almost every bike himself, and when you message on WhatsApp it is usually him typing back. Himanshu works from home, in code, and comes in when he is needed. And when Gambhir disappears on a ride of his own — which he does, because that is who he is — Himanshu is the one behind the counter.

That is the whole company. Two school friends: one who likes building things, one who likes riding them. No call centre, no manager — just the two people whose names are on the door.

Our shop is at Shyampur Haat Bazar — the closest counter for bike rent in Nepali Farm — so you can pick up your ride as soon as you enter Rishikesh.

Which bike suits my trip?

Activa 125 for city and temple runs, Apache RTR 160 for a sportier hill ride, Hunter 350 for long highway trips. All three include 2 free helmets.

How does pricing work for a longer stay?

1–3 days is the daily rate, 4–29 days is the weekly rate, and 30+ days is the monthly rate. Send your exact dates on WhatsApp and we will work out the total for you.

How do I actually book?

Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and the bike you want, then pick up at our Haat Bazar shop in Shyampur, Rishikesh. Bring your original Driving Licence and Aadhaar Card plus the ₹1,000 refundable deposit.

What documents do I need to rent a bike in Rishikesh?

Bring your original driving licence and Aadhaar card when you pick up the bike. Foreign riders should carry a passport and an International Driving Permit, and message us on WhatsApp before booking so we can confirm what is needed for your country. Our documents guide has the full list.

How much is the security deposit for a rental bike?

The deposit is a flat ₹1,000 per vehicle and it is refundable. It is the same ₹1,000 for the Activa 125, the Apache RTR 160 and the Hunter 350 — there is no higher deposit for the bigger bike. The deposit is separate from the rent, and fuel is not included in either.

Is there a kilometre limit on a rented bike in Rishikesh?

We do not put a kilometre figure on the booking. Fuel is not included, so you take the bike with a full tank and bring it back full. For a long hill trip or a multi-day ride, message us on WhatsApp before booking so we can suggest the right model and the right number of days.

Do you deliver the bike to my hotel in Rishikesh?

Delivery is ₹100 and covers Nepali Farm, Shyampur, Tapovan, IDPL and Muni Ki Reti. It is not free, and it does not cover Ram Jhula or Laxman Jhula — for those areas you pick up at the shop. Message us on WhatsApp with your location before you book.

When do I have to return the bike?

We are open 24×7 for booking, pickup and support, but the shop closes at 8 PM — that is the daily return deadline. Returns after 8 PM are ₹100 an hour.

Can international tourists rent?

We have not fixed one licence rule for every country yet, so please ask us on WhatsApp before you book and we will confirm exactly what you need for your licence.
