Top Routes to Explore on a Rental Bike from Rishikesh
Rishikesh sits at the meeting point of four major mountain highways. No matter which direction you point your front wheel, something incredible is within reach.
Neelkanth Mahadev Temple (32 km)
One of the most sacred Shiva temples in North India, Neelkanth sits at 1,330 metres in the middle of dense jungle. The road is twisty, tree-lined, and moderately steep — perfect for the TVS NTorq 125 or any of our Royal Enfields. Allow 3–4 hours for a comfortable round trip including temple darshan. Best visited early morning before the tourist rush.
Kunjapuri Devi Temple Sunrise Ride (25 km)
Leave by 4:30 AM, reach the Kunjapuri temple ridge by sunrise, and watch the entire Himalayan arc — from Gangotri to Chaukhamba — lit up in gold. The road from Rishikesh to Kunjapuri climbs 1,645 metres and is well-paved. A Royal Enfield Classic 350 handles the gradient beautifully. This is Rishikesh’s best-kept morning secret for riders.
Chopta and Tungnath (200 km one-way)
Called the “Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand,” Chopta is a high-altitude meadow at 2,680 metres and the base for the Tungnath trek. The road passes through Rudraprayag, Ukhimath, and a stretch of forest road that turns golden in October. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 410cc is the recommended choice — its long-travel suspension and luggage-friendly design make all-day riding comfortable. Plan as a 2-night trip.
Char Dham Yatra Circuit
Rishikesh is the official starting point of the Char Dham Yatra — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Thousands of pilgrims begin their journey from here each year (May to November). Our Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Himalayan 410cc are well-suited for the mountain highways. For multi-day Char Dham rentals, contact us on WhatsApp for custom weekly pricing.
Tehri Dam Loop (75 km)
A perfect one-day ride that takes you past the massive Tehri reservoir — the largest dam in Asia by height. The route follows the Bhagirathi River upstream, offering stunning canyon views. The TVS Apache 160cc handles the winding roads confidently and is a great choice for experienced riders who want speed and agility.
