For a geared motorcycle like the Royal Enfield or Apache, you need a licence valid for motorcycles with gear (MC). Learner’s licences are not accepted.
Foreign tourists: carry an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your home-country licence. An IDP that covers motorcycles is mandatory if you want to rent a geared bike.
2. Government photo ID proof
Bring one original government ID:
- Indian riders: Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Passport.
